When we look for new members, we often expect the same engagement as the current members. While people are different, their jobs are different, their families are different.
We also very often expect that people volunteer for the same reasons. But that’s not true.
In this webinar we take a look to different types of members, and different types of volunteers, what is engaging them, so that we can learn from that to recruit new members, to retain existing members and to keep our volunteers satisfied.

Numerous Power Point presentations cause the audience to fall asleep almost immediately. Most of the time this is not only due to the presenter but mainly to the boring slides. On the one hand, this seminar is about getting some tips for a more successful presentation, on the other hand, you will get additional practical tips for dealing with Power Point.
Power Point knowledge is not required. The first part of the seminar is also aimed at KeyNote and users of other presentation software.

Everybody is getting quite used to Zoom, MS Teams, and other applications to have online meetings.
There is a kind of “fatigue” coming about meeting online, it’s very important to make your online meetings, webinars, online training sessions and district/division/committee meetings interactive!
In this webinar we take a look to the bells and whistles from Zoom to “play” a bit more with it.
We use some interesting apps and online tools to showcast how you can make the meeting you facilitate more interactive and how you can do group work during an online training session.
